Starting Daughters for Dads with her sister and close friend was the best way Allison knew how to carry on her father's legacy. She's reminded of her dad's giving heart and feels a sense of closeness to her father when helping others who are battling cancer. She's proud of how far their nonprofit has grown and the amount of families Daughters for Dads has assisted along the way. Her favorite way to give back is by making gift baskets for families and remembers how special such a small, personal gesture meant to her family when her Dad was fighting cancer.

As a founding member Andrea is passionate about Daughters for Dads. Her passion comes from the loss of her dad to cancer. She was touched by community kindness throughout his illness. She also loves the personal touch and handwritten card that goes into every gift given by Daughters for Dads. 

Lisa also lost her dad to cancer and along with Andrea and Allison needed to help fill the void after her Dad passed. Daughters for Dads is an outlet for her to give back in remembrance of her dad. D4D had allowed her to touch people in more ways than ever expected. Lisa's goal is to let families know that our hearts and prayers are with them and we will be their support if needed.

Heather began working with Daughters for Dads in 2012 because she believes in the cause, enjoys fundraising, and likes that Daughters for Dads directly supports her community. Cancer has directly affected her family and she feels led to give back and fundraise for such a worthy cause.

Staci has been a volunteer for Daughters for Dads for years and joined the board in 2017.  She enjoys donating her time for such a worthy cause. It fulfills her to give back to families fighting cancer in her community. Staci has enjoyed watching D4D grow and help so many families in need.

Anna has been volunteering with D4D since the organization was founded, but began working as an intern during her senior year of college. Anna wants to give back to the organization that has given so much to her and her family, and help bring joy to the ENC community.
